Contributing to a Cleaner Earth

At the forefront of our efforts is a commitment to achieve Net Zero Carbon Emission by 2040. Our business practices are anchored on embracing sustainable solutions, community initiatives that foster eco responsibility, and partnerships with organizations that share our vision.

Our business is mainly fuelled by the activities from our own employees and our vendors – activities that are heavily dependent on the use of electricity. Therefore, as we strive to adopt new sources of energy, we also make sure that such adoption will not be impacting our operational efficiencies.

Renewable Energy Adoption

We work side by side on green initiatives, promoting the adoption of renewable energy sources by putting up our own solar facilities or by tapping into every available supply of renewable energy in the sites where we operate.

CO2e Reduction Initiatives

We endeavor to reduce our carbon footprint by putting in place a strategic program for energy optimization in all our sites aimed at reducing our total energy consumption without compromising on delivering to our clients.

Employee Awareness and Involvement

We believe that one of the most effective strategies to reach our goal of carbon neutrality is to enlist the commitment of employees, as they themselves get involved in reducing wastes, responsible use of energy, and in offsetting our carbon emissions through tree planting activities.

While still at its early stages, our efforts in responsible waste management have led to the elimination of 90% of single-use plastics across our sites.

Sustainable Procurement

We recognize the critical role that our vendors and suppliers play in our overall commitment to environmental sustainability. At Straive, we prioritize sustainable procurement practices that minimize environmental impact, promote social responsibility, and ensure ethical sourcing, fostering a positive and lasting influence on our business, stakeholders, and the planet.

Celebrating Each Other's Individuality

At Straive, we ensure fair and responsible operations through programs that uphold employee welfare, promote engagement, and foster wellness and education in communities, co-creating an equitable future for all diverse groups through four critical areas: education, health and well-being, environment, and diversity.

Fostering Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Rooted in our value of respect and a supportive culture, we uplift one another and embrace individuality through the #ICelebrateYou credo. We live up to this mantra through DEI Programs that support diverse groups throughout the employee life cycle. As an equal opportunity employer, we promote equity and eliminate discrimination across all stages of employment.

Empowering Programs for Diverse Groups

Our support programs aim to foster a safe and compassionate workplace where everyone has equal access to opportunities and resources. These programs cater to diverse groups including returning female employees and parent-employees and their

children, among others.

Ensuring Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment

Our labor force is powered by 54% women, many of whom play important leadership roles. As a global company, we strive to provide equal opportunities for career advancement to all individuals across the gender spectrum, with respect to cultural differences.

Through our REIGNITE Program, returning female employees who left the workforce are reintegrated seamlessly into the organization.

Supporting Parent-Employees

We provide resources for employees across all stages of their parenthood journey. Through online support groups and webinars for expectant parents, we aim to build a community that nurtures each other’s success at work and at home. Our exclusive Project LINK learning program helps bridge challenges between parent-employees and their children, fostering compassionate parenting.

Promoting Health and Mental Well-Being

We engage employees in self-care webinars and forums, and conduct onsite activities that promote health and wellness. Our teams have access to peer support and professional mental health counseling with utmost confidentiality.

Creating An Impact to the Community

We leverage green practices and collaborate with stakeholders to support an inclusive and equitable future where no one is left behind. From learning-focused initiatives to environmental interventions, we develop change-driven programs that address social and ecological issues through volunteerism.

Education

In pursuit of equitable learning, we collaborate with nonprofit organizations, grassroots movements, and learning institutions to provide education access to youth from underprivileged backgrounds. Our initiatives ensure a holistic foundation for students to lean on, including book drives and PC donations, classroom refurbishments, feeding programs, and life skills and career-oriented training.

Environment

Together with local government arms and schools, we’re greening our world through street and beach cleanups, and tree planting initiatives – building thriving communities and preserving our planet for future generations.

Social Diversity

The empowerment of diverse groups in our communities is probably one of our more complex causes as the society has many challenges that need to be addressed. But that doesn’t matter. Our teams have taken bold steps towards broadening and widening our reach in support of uplifting the lives of marginalized groups, especially children and women, both in the urban and the rural areas.

Wellness

We’re committed to uplifting lives through transformative healthcare initiatives like provision of clean and safe water to rural communities, life-saving blood donation drives, free vaccination, and feeding programs.

Straive proactively supports the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG), through its corporate social responsibility programs, which focus on the critical areas of Education, Environment, Diversity and Wellness. These initiatives, which is driven primarily by employee volunteerism, fall under the the banner of Straive’s Creating Shared Value (CSV) Programs:

Employee Communication Channels

Good corporate governance is a universal duty. It ensures accountability, transparency, and ethical conduct in decision-making processes, balancing the interests of stakeholders. Through the Corporate Governance email, employees may choose to directly report their knowledge of any violations against corporate governance and code of conduct.

All employees are protected by the Whistleblower Policy, ensuring that they have a safe space to report incidents or concerns related to conflict of interest.
