Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Digital QA to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in WCAG 2.1 (Level A/AA), Section 508 compliance, and hands-on experience with both manual and automated accessibility testing. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency with assistive technologies, and a solid understanding of accessibility implementation techniques.

We are seeking a skilled Digital QA to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in WCAG 2.1 (Level A/AA), Section 508 compliance, and hands-on experience with both manual and automated accessibility testing. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency with assistive technologies, and a solid understanding of accessibility implementation techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive WCAG 2.1 (Level A/AA) and Section 508 compliance assessments through manual reviews and automated testing tools.
  • Utilize assistive technologies like JAWS, NVDA, and screen magnifiers (e.g., ZoomText) to evaluate accessibility.
  • Analyze and identify accessibility issues, risks, and potential barriers affecting the quality of products or services.
  • Review and interpret system specifications to ensure accessibility requirements are met.
  • Test content, resize elements, and validate the use of correct HTML5 semantics, ARIA attributes, and data table structures.
  • Generate detailed test summary reports outlining testing progress, results, and pass/fail status after each testing cycle.
  • Identify, document, and report bugs or errors to development teams for prompt resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accessibility is integrated throughout the development lifecycle.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in manual and accessibility testing.
  • Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1, Section 508, and accessibility best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with assistive technologies (JAWS, NVDA, ZoomText).
  • Proficient in HTML5, CSS, and accessibility-related coding standards.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive test reports and documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing both manual and automation testing projects.
