Job Summary:
We are looking foran experienced and strategic Director - Lead Technical Program Manager tomanage, lead, and deliver complex, cross-functional technical programs. Thesuccessful candidate will work closely with engineering, product, and businessteams to ensure programs are executed efficiently, meet business objectives,and deliver high-quality solutions. This role requires a strong combination ofprogram management, technical leadership, and the ability to drive alignmentbetween different stakeholders across the organization.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead and manage the technical program management team, setting and executing the strategy for successful delivery of technical projects across the organization.
- Program Oversight: Oversee multiple high-impact programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product management, and business leadership teams to define program requirements and ensure seamless execution across teams.
- Process Optimization: Implement best practices for program management, continuously improving processes to ensure high-quality program delivery and minimize risk.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate program status, risks, and deliverables to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment on objectives and timelines.
- Risk Management: Identify and proactively manage risks and obstacles that could impact program success, while driving resolution and ensuring minimal disruptions.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and coach a team of technical program managers, driving continuous growth and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to continuously improve program management methodologies and tools, keeping the team ahead of industry trends.
RequiredQualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in technical program management, with at least 5 years in leadership or management roles.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale, cross-functional programs in a technical environment, from inception to successful delivery.
- Strong understanding of software development processes, including Agile and other program management methodologies.
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with and influence senior leaders and other key stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization.
- Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of technical aspects, with the ability to understand and manage complex technical systems and architectures.
- Ability to drive complex initiatives with multiple interdependencies, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project, etc.).
