KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must have a strong background in ESG analysis, with a particular focus on governance, SFDR (Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation), SASB (Sustainability Accounting Standards Board), and TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) data points.
  • This role will involve providing insights and recommendations for automation initiatives, ensuring data quality, and supporting our ESG reporting and Compliance efforts.
  • Provide support to analyze, research, extract and validate ESG information through standard company reports and other trusted sources where available.
  • Provide training on ESG data extraction and suggest methods to enhance the quality of the data sourced Support implementation of quality control measures and oversee research conducted by team members.
  • Contribute to ongoing development and improvement of automation and help build and follow a rule- based methodology to extract ESG ratings.
  • Accommodate different exceptions based on geographies (such as developed and emerging markets) and languages (Non-English) from different sectors and range in size from large to small scale.

DOMAIN SPECIALISATION:

B.Sc., M.Sc. (General Science, Environmental Science, Botany, Climate science, Sustainability) B.Com

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 – 4 yrs of experience related to ESG activities.
  • Strong Analytical skills and ability to articulate analytical view points.
  • Strong communication both verbal and written.
  • Self-driven; ability to work under minimum supervision.
