Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee XML Operator to join our content and data processing team. As a trainee, you will gain hands-on experience working with XML technologies and tools, learning how to convert, edit, and validate structured content for digital platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in digital publishing, eBooks, technical documentation, or data management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating, editing, and validating XML files according to DTD/Schema specifications.

  • Perform content tagging and markup for books, journals, and digital documents.

  • Support the conversion of files from other formats (Word, Excel, HTML, PDF) to XML.

  • Use XML editors like Oxygen XML Editor, XMetaL, or other in-house tools.

  • Conduct quality checks to ensure content accuracy and formatting compliance.

  • Work collaboratively with content editors, developers, and quality teams to meet deadlines.

  • Learn and follow project-specific XML standards and workflows.
