Job Summary :

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Director - Cloud Engineering Practice Lead to oversee and drivethe development of our cloud engineering initiatives. This senior leadershiprole requires a blend of technical expertise, team leadership, and a deepunderstanding of cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsiblefor shaping the cloud strategy, overseeing cloud architecture, and ensuring thesuccessful delivery of cloud solutions aligned with business goals.

KeyResponsibilities:

·        Strategic Leadership: Lead theCloud Engineering Practice, aligning team objectives with broader businessstrategies. Set and execute the vision for cloud architecture and engineeringexcellence.

·        Team Development: Build,mentor, and lead a high-performing team of cloud engineers, architects, andtechnical specialists, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.

·        Cloud Architecture & Delivery: Oversee the design, implementation, and management of scalable, secure,and cost-effective cloud solutions that meet business requirements and industrystandards.

·        Cross-functional Collaboration: Partnerwith product, security, and operations teams to ensure that cloud solutions areseamlessly integrated and provide business value.

·        Governance & Optimization: Drivecloud cost management, resource optimization, and the establishment ofgovernance frameworks to ensure compliance, security, and operationalefficiency.

·        Innovation: Stay abreast ofemerging cloud technologies and industry trends, incorporating best practicesand cutting-edge tools into cloud operations.

RequiredQualifications:

·        10+ years ofexperience in cloud engineering, with 5+ years in leadership or managementroles.

·        Extensiveexpertise with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and relatedcloud-native technologies (IaC, containers, microservices).

·        Proven recordof accomplishment of leading cloud transformation projects, optimizing cloudresources, and managing large-scale cloud environments.

·        Strongcommunication skills with the ability to engage both technical andnon-technical stakeholders at all levels.

·        Solidunderstanding of cloud security frameworks, compliance requirements, andindustry best practices.
