About the Data Scientist Job Role
You will help our clients solve real-world problems bytracing the data-to-insights lifecycle:
- Understand business problems, making sense of the data landscape & footprint, performing a combination of exploratory, Machine Learning & Advanced Analytics
- Create, experiment with, and deliver innovative solutions in a consultative mindset to client stakeholders using textual data
Qualification for Data Scientist
Experience: 2-5 years
- Primary Skills Evaluation
- Python
- Advanced Python concepts
- Proficiency in libraries: Matplotlib, Seaborn, scikit-learn, XGBoost
- Coding Assessment: 1-2 coding questions to be evaluated within an IDE environment, potentially involving more complex data manipulation and model building.
- Supervised & Unsupervised Machine Learning
- In-depth knowledge of various ML algorithms (e.g., ensemble methods, Boosting, Bagging etc.)
- Experience in applying ML solutions to real-world business problems
- Model Deployment & Monitoring: Understanding of model deployment strategies, monitoring, and retraining.
- Data Engineering & Pipelines
- Strong knowledge with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
- SQL
- Medium SQL queries (Partition By, Having, CTE etc.)
- Case study-based assessment: 1-2 questions to evaluate advanced SQL concepts
- Secondary Skills
- Foundational knowledge of NLP, Deep Learning, and Generative AI concepts.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
