Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Editing: Review and edit articles, blog posts, product descriptions, and other written content for grammar, punctuation, style, and overall readability, ensuring that all content aligns with the publication's voice and editorial standards.
• Style Guide Adherence: Apply and maintain the brand's style guide, ensuring consistency across all content. Suggest updates or revisions to the style guide when necessary.
• Collaboration: Work closely with writers, content creators, and senior editors to provide feedback and ensure all content meets editorial standards.
• Proofreading: Proofread content before publication to catch errors and ensure that the copy is polished and ready for publishing.
• Content Optimization: Help optimize content for readability and engagement, incorporating best practices for SEO (search engine optimization) and audience engagement.
• Quality Control: Ensure that content adheres to legal, ethical, and quality standards, including appropriate citations, language sensitivity, and accuracy.
• Trend Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, editorial styles, and new tools and technologies to improve content and editorial workflows.
