About the Department:
Capital Market is one of the vital service lines offered by SG analytics to its clients, providing Modeling and Financial Analysis, Research, Due Diligence, Valuation, Portfolio Management, Deal Advisory, Deal Sourcing, and Marketing and Communications. SGA’s team of seasoned investment analysts are the extension of the client's team and further supported by additional value-added functions. They serve various clients across Private Equity, Investment Banks, and other Corporates, Wealth Management Firms, etc.
Roles& Responsibilities:
·      Analyzing company documents to create information memorandums, competitive landscape, sector reports, financial benchmarking, evaluation of term sheets and trading and transaction comps
·      Identifying and profiling potential targets/buyers for sponsor led deals
·      Working on Financial Models and assumptions validation, DCF, LBO, fund modelling, sensitivity analysis, quality of earnings analysis
·      Maintaining portfolio operating models, and performing periodic portfolio valuations
·      Performing secondary research through the web and available databases to prepare investment thesis and memorandums
·      Comprehend client objectives in detail by front facing conversations. Build confidence and
create a strong impression in new prospects’ minds
·      Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of projects
Required Skillset:
·      At least 1+ years of experience of working with or servicing Private Equity clients
·      In-depth understanding of PE life cycle, fund structures and has knowledge of PE transactions and key products
·      Strong proficiency in financial modelling, fund modeling and valuation techniques and can manage unstructured and open-ended requests
·      Knowledge of databases such as Bloomberg, CapIQ, Pitchbook, Reuters, Factset, and Merger market
·      Excellent analytical and presentation skills and attention to detail
