Job Summary:

We are seeking detail-oriented and analytical Real Estate Document Abstractors to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and extracting key data points from real estate deeds, mortgages, and related legal documents from various US counties. The ideal candidate will possess strong reading comprehension skills, a basic understanding of real estate terminology, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyse real estate documents like deeds and mortgages from various US counties.
  • Accurately extract key data elements from documents, like Recording Date, Document Date, Buyer and seller Names, Buyer Mailing Address, Buyer Description (e.g., individual, trustee, single, spouse, LLC, corporation, etc.), Sales Price Amount, Lender Name, Loan Amount, Borrower Names and Mailing Address, etc.
  • Enter extracted data into a pre-defined Microsoft Excel template with precision and efficiency.
  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness by cross-referencing information within documents.
  • Identify and escalate any discrepancies or inconsistencies in the documents to the appropriate team member.
  • Maintain a high level of productivity while adhering to quality standards.
  • Stay updated on real estate terminology and document types.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project status and any challenges encountered.

  • Good English reading and comprehension and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with real estate and legal terminology.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for data review and analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in BSc / B.E or equivalent experience.
  • 0 - 1 (Preferably if some experience in real estate or legal domain).
