Job Overview

We are lookingfor a skilled QA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience inautomation frameworks, API testing, and end-to-end validation. The idealcandidate will bring a strong technical background, excellent problem-solvingskills, and a collaborative spirit to help enhance the quality and efficiencyof our development and release processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Selenium, and Cucumber (BDD).
  • Design and execute BDD test cases including feature files and step definitions.
  • Perform API testing using Postman and validate back-end services.
  • Write complex SQL queries to validate data in SQL Server (SSMS) and MySQL.
  • Participate in ETL testing and data validation activities.
  • Collaborate in CI/CD environments with tools like Maven, Jenkins, and AWS.
  • Use JIRA for test case management, defect tracking, and Agile sprint planning.
  • Contribute to version control and code collaboration through GitHub.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams in India and the USA, ensuring clear communication and timely updates.
  • Follow Agile methodologies, including Scrum, and adhere to STLC and BLC best practices.

 

 

 

Requirements

  • 3 to 4 years of total IT experience, with at least 2 years in automation testing.
  • Strong expertise in Python, Selenium, and Cucumber (BDD framework).
  • Proficient in functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies and agile environments.
  • Familiarity with tools like Postman, Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, and JIRA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
