Job Description:

  • Account Collection:
  • Contacts customers through phone calls, emails, or letters to collect overdue payment
  • Negotiates payment terms or set up payment plans with customers
  • Works to resolver customer disputes related to billing, charges, or account status
  • Customer Communication:
  • Maintains clear and professional communication with customers regarding their outstanding debts
  • Uses effective negotiation skills to encourage timely payment while maintainig positive customer relations
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Accurately documents all customer communications, payment agreements, and payment history in the company's system
  • Prepares regular reports on the status of overdue accounts and collection efforts
  • Payment Processing:
  • Assists customers with payment processing and ensure payments are correctly applied to their accounts
  • Tracks and follows up on partial or missed payment according to the agreed-upon terms
  • Legal Compliance:
  • Ensures that all collection activities comply with relevant laws and regulations, such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
  • Advise customers of the consequences of non-payment including the impact on credit score or potential legal action
  • Escalation and Collaboration:
  • Escalates unresolved accounts to higher authorities, such as legal teams or third-party collections agencies, when necessary
  • Collaborates with other department, such as finance or customer service to resolve more complex issues
  • Expert Guidance:
  • Offer specialized knowledge and advice to teams, ensuring informed decision-making
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate expertise into various projects
  • Documentation:
  • Develop and review technical documents, manuals, and training materials to ensure accuracy and clarity
  • Training:
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions to disseminate knowledge and enhance team capabilities
  • Research:
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the field
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure that deliverables meet the required standards and specifications

Job Qualification:

  •  Minimum educational requirements: High School graduate (Old Curriculum) or Senior High School graduate
  • With BPO experience (6 months above)
  • Collection experience is a plus
  • Good communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Amenable to work onsite and shifting schedule
  • Amenable to start as soon as possible
