Job Summary:
The Transition Assistant Director plays a pivotal role in supporting and executing transition initiatives across the organization. This individual will work closely with the Transition Director to manage projects related to organizational change, including technology implementation, business process redesign, operational shifts, and staff reallocation. The role demands a combination of strategic oversight, operational execution, and stakeholder engagement to ensure seamless transitions with minimal disruption.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Transition Director in designing and implementing comprehensive transition strategies and plans.
Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of transition initiatives to meet project milestones, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate with departments to assess readiness, identify transition impacts, and implement mitigation strategies.
Track and report progress of transition activities against goals and KPIs.
Manage risks, issues, and change control processes related to the transition.
Ensure effective communication and engagement with all stakeholders throughout the transition process.
Develop training materials and coordinate transition-related training programs.
Assist in the post-transition review process to evaluate effectiveness and ensure operational stability.
Support the integration of new systems, processes, and teams as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Organizational Development, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
5+ years of experience in change management, operations, or project management.
Experience in transition or transformation projects within medium to large-scale organizations.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, PMP, PRINCE2).
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
