• This role will not require a data analysis skillset, nor will it require tool expertise outside of Excel.
• Client feels strongly that we should also pursue and interview candidates that do not have the python/data analysis background since there is no expectation of data analysis in this role, so we want to ensure we are not inadvertently narrowing to candidates that are better suited to more advanced roles.

Job Qualifications:

• Core Excel skills, particularly the ability to understand and validate formulas and catch logical or structural errors within spreadsheets
• Should have hands-on experience in spreadsheet QA that goes beyond basic data cleaning
• Experience auditing formulas, verifying calculations, identifying broken or incorrect references, and checking cross-sheet dependencies
• Experience working in large spreadsheets and the ability to make sense of complex spreadsheet structures
• Efficiently completing spreadsheet QA tasks, including their approach and time management
• Ability to clearly identify, document, and communicate the errors and how to amend
• Proficiency in tools like Power Query, SQL, or Python is not required
