Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Data Engineer with 7+years of hands-on experience in building, managing, and optimizing large-scaledata solutions. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain dataarchitectures on Microsoft Azure, ensuring seamless data pipelines andanalytics capabilities. As a key member of our data engineering team, you willcollaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and other engineering teamsto drive impactful business insights and innovation.

KeyResponsibilities:

·Design,develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines and ETLprocesses on Azure.

·Implementand manage data warehousing solutions (Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL DataWarehouse).

·Collaboratewith data scientists and business teams to define data requirements and developstrategies to collect, process, and analyse large datasets.

·LeverageAzure services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, andAzure SQL Database to automate and optimize data workflows.

·Build anddeploy solutions that ensure high performance, reliability, and security ofdata solutions.

·Monitor andtroubleshoot data pipelines and workflows for performance bottlenecks andresolve issues in a timely manner.

·Develop andenforce data governance best practices to ensure quality, integrity, andcompliance of data.

·Performdata integration tasks across multiple sources and formats (structured,semi-structured, and unstructured data).

·Work in anAgile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet projectdeadlines and milestones.

·Stayon the leading edge of data engineering practices and remain well aware on  new technologies, available vendor packagesand proactively take on initiative to optimize legacy dataservices/applications

·Providementorship to junior team members and guide them to follow the best practicesin data engineering as well as making sure of compliance adherence

Required Skills andQualifications:

·7+ yearsof experience in data engineering, with at least 3+ years of experienceworking with Azure-based solutions in delivering mid to high scale projects

·  Strong hands-on expertise in Azure Data Factory,Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database,and Azure Databricks.

·Provenexperience in designing and implementing end-to-end data pipelines, includingingestion, transformation, and storage in the cloud.

·In-depthknowledge of SQL, data warehousing, and ETL processes.

·Experiencewith data security, data privacy, and governance standards within the Azurecloud platform.

·Proficiencyin programming languages like Python & Pyspark

·Goodunderstanding of Azure DevOps, version control, and CI/CD pipelines forautomation.

·Experiencewith any of the big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and theirintegration into Azure-based environments.

·Ability towork with diverse data types and sources, including relational, NoSQL, andflat-file data systems.

·Knowledge of cloudarchitecture principles and best practices for scalability and highavailability in Azure.

·Excellentcommunication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internalteams and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

·Experiencewith machine learning models and deployment in Azure (Azure MachineLearning).

·Knowledgeof Power BI for data visualization and reporting.

·Understandingof containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

·Certificationsin Azure Data Engineering (Azure DP-203) or relevant Azurecertifications.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a relatedfield.
