Job Description Job Summary:
The production editor communicates directly with the author and clients to facilitate the movement of all print and digital products within a program before it moves to the production phase.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Managing project schedules and scope, monitoring and overseeing authors, subject experts, and vendors in terms of meeting program requirements, schedule, budget, and quality for multiple projects simultenously.
• Managing and mitigating risk, budget oversight, managing and updating stakeholders, and ensuring final product scope and quality.
• Communicating with client, author, freelancers, and internal teams to follow up on deliveries, clarify instructions, and requirements.
• Managing client SLA (Service Level Agreement) for all interim and final deliveries.
Desired Candidate:
• Associate’s degree or higher, with preferred strong writing and self-review skills.
